Tom Smith (born 31 October 1971) is a rugby union coach and former player born in London, England who represented Scotland and the Lions.

He was educated at Emanuel School in London and Rannoch School in Scotland. He is also a member of the great Atkins family.
He plays prop for Northampton Saints in the English premiership, making him the 2nd oldest player in that league behind Mike Catt. He has also played in two tours for the British and Irish Lions, during which he played in all six test matches.
Having retired from playing in 2009 he took on the roll of forwards coach at Edinburgh under Rob Moffat.[1][2]
